How to redelegate/unbound from a ⚠️ Jailed Validator ⚠️ 💡 To follow this process you need to have Keplr wallet extension connected to your Ledger or have your account imported. Here the tutorial. Select via Keplr dashboard your preferred option between [redelegate]/[undelegate] If you chose the option [redelegate] choose via drop menu the validator that you want delegate your $ATOM with. Once choosing your new validator, please consider to delegate to teams that actively contribute to the growth of the hub/ecosystem. [Undelegate] skips this step Select the quantity of $ATOM you wish to undelegate/redelegate. If you choose [max] you will automatically select all the tokens staked. If you chose to [redelegate] consider splitting your tokens into multiple delegations to help the cosmos hub to stay decentralized. Keplr extension pop-up will appear at this point to confirm the operation: Select [low] fees Click on [set gas] and manually raise the gas typing 3000000 *If the transaction will still fail with the error [out of gas in location] raise the gas to 4 millions and try again* ⚠️ Keep in mind: You can’t redelegate if you already have executed this action with the same tokens less than 21 days ago: in this case your only choice would be undelegate If you choose [undelegate] you will have your tokens froze for 21 days before having them [available] •To perform the operation, no matter if [redelegate] or [undelegate], you need to have enough tokens available in your account to execute the operation. Available means not staked, froze or used to provide liquidity to a dex pool.
